Supply of homes in SLO County 

Are you ready to find your forever home or next investment in San Luis Obispo County?Well, let us share some good news with you! As of May 2022, SLO County has had a total of 508 active listings. Believe it or not, that’s a large increase in the number of listings, and one of those could be your forever home!San Luis Obispo County is not slowing down when it comes to homes being listed for sale. There has been a steady increase of homes being listed from December 2021 to May 2022. In December 2021, there were only 161 new homes listed and as of May 2022, there were 392 new listings in the county. While there is talk about a potential market crash, this infographic shows quite the opposite. Homes are still being listed, and there is a steady level of buyers in the market. The market is still strong, and there are plenty of home and investment opportunities in our county. Our team is here to help you with that purchase!

We met with the sales team from San Luis Ranch this week to learn more about this amazing community. Both the Fig Homes and Harvest Lofts divisions are actively selling their models. Fig Homes features beautiful townhomes in the high $600s, and Harvest Lofts has spectacular studios and one bedroom lofts in the mid-to-high $400s. When it comes to new builds, it’s all about being the first in line to give your deposit. Purchasing a new build is a simple and convenient process. Buyers avoid any purchasing competition, bidding wars don’t exist, and the final product is a stunning, clean, and turnkey home. With new builds you are paying for a home that has never been lived in. You get a more modern home, new appliances, and overall less maintenance issues since everything is built to today’s code. Keep in mind there are some cons as well, such as smaller outdoor spaces and homes looking the same and lacking originality. Having a new home can give you the peace of mind that you are saving on maintenance and repairs you would potentially be investing in an older home. You still absolutely want proper representation when purchasing a new build, so please reach out to our team first when considering a new build.
